Alastair Stewart has over 25 years of Qi Gong Practice Initially studying with Dr Lo, a T’ai Chi Ch’uan champion from Hong Kong.
He has studied the 5 Animals with Master Zhi Xing Wang, forms of Wild Goose, the 8 Silk Brocades and a variety of other Qi Gong expressions. Running in tandem has been his T’ai Chi Ch’uan practice most recently working in Cheng Hsin, Peter Ralston’s study of Effortless Power.

Qi Gong is an earthy practical way to strengthen and regenerate suppleness in the body stimulating the essential organs into a more balanced flow while developing a greater awareness in how to use the body more carefully in everyday activity. The texts talk of increasing vitality and perpetuating longevity. The trick is to practice… that’s why I’m here!
My teaching style brings together my awareness from Body psychotherapy, Zen studies and Body movement disciplines. All are a living breathing expression in my daily self care. I’ve taught monks, individual clients and family.
