This workshop is a little taste into the ground of Hakomi
To be in connection with someone in a loving way requires we notice what is happening for us in the present moment. An essential part of this process is what we call in Hakomi Loving presence. The capacity to be alongside someone with spaciousness and inspiration.
In this workshop we will explore simple interactive exercises conducted in a mindful way that will help you to see habits you unconsciously practice which obscure the way to making deeper more nourishing connections with ourselves and others. With calm spacious assisted attention we can then explore new habits of relating in more nourishing ways.
Hakomi is a community-led practice developed by Ron Kurtz firstly as a body-centred psychotherapy that evolved into a community-orientated method to heal divisions that pose a threat to our sense of connection, we work in couples or small intimate groups to assist our self study.
