Therapeutic applications of yoga – Lands Yoga
Juliana is an experienced Yoga Alliance qualified yoga teacher and has trained with the British Wheel of Yoga, Yoga Campus, Triyoga, and the Independent Yoga Network. Juliana is currently working under the supervision of The Yoga Therapy Institute (TYTI), completing the Yoga Therapy Teacher Training which is IAYT accredited.
In class, Juliana’s slow, mindful flows and fluid hatha yoga practices offer a certain radiance and fluidity while encouraging exploration of functional movement and therapeutic applications of yoga to help you nourish body, mind, spirit and support an overall balanced sense of wellbeing. Juliana also offers pregnancy and postnatal yoga to support women at every stage of life and practice.
Juliana’s classes are suitable for all levels of experience, offering a “person not pose” approach, and work to encourage awareness in movement and stillness. This provides you with the freedom to work at your own pace, in your own bodies, to create space, fluidity, strength and balance that is unique to you and your needs. This aims to help you develop positive habits to take off the mat through the growth of self-awareness, self-expression and greater self-care which can facilitate you to reconnect, rediscover and re-embody your body, coming back home to yourself.
Juliana also offers yoga therapy (one-to-one and some workshops) in a range of areas including stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, trauma informed yoga, pain management and hormone and immune system issues, including autoimmune disorders such as Hypothyroidism, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Lupus, amongst others.
