Which Yoga Course level is for me?

Level 1

Level 1 courses introduce you to yoga and teaches you to establish the basics of posture, breath and movement.

Level 2

Level 2 courses consolidate skills learnt at Level 1 and introduce more complex postures. We ask that you have a good grounding in yoga Level 1 yoga course at Bodywise before you move on to Level 2.

Weekend Workshops

Why not give some time to take your practise deeper. We have an extensive programme of workshops at the weekend, some for anyone and some for those with more experience. See Weekend Workshops for dates and details.

Yoga Equipment

At the moment we prefer that you bring your own mat. We supply all other equipment for you to use in your class or course. You can also buy yoga equipment and books from the Manchester Buddhist Centre bookshop. See their opening times here under ‘How to get here’

What kind of Yoga?

In our general Yoga classes and courses we teach dynamic flow sequences harmonising breath and movement which build strength, vitality and fluidity. This is balanced by a quiet yin style yoga practice which cultivates relaxation and stillness. We limit class size to optimise personal attention. In a yoga class you will learn about the core movement principles that underpin the practice of yoga and experience how these develop strength in the body. One-to-One Tuition

One-to-one tuition is an opportunity to explore yoga in more depth where we can help you tailor your practice to your own needs, either to accommodate an injury or health issue or help develop your own personal yoga or movement practice. 1 hour session costs £48.
