Relaxing into Winter: Restorative Yoga Workshop with Manjunaga
Open to all levels of experience.
Full workshop price is £25/£20 non-refundable, non-transferable.
As we move deeper into winter it can be a time to turn inwards and allow ourselves to give our body to the earth.
” While our culture promotes a never ending amount of doing, Restorative Yoga is the radical, counter-cultural experience of simply being ” – Neal Ghoshal
We are living through very challenging and uncertain times which can affect us both physically and emotionally (particularly in relationship to our nervous and immune systems). During this workshop we will have space to explore the deeply relaxing practice of Restorative Yoga, focusing on stilling and meditative practices. It will be an opportunity to turn inward, slow down and feel supported.
Restorative Yoga focuses on longer, passive held postures. It aims to relax our musculature, work on connective tissue and stimulate the subtle energy systems within our body. We will also explore a number of yoga postures that can help soothe our nervous systems in unsettling times and there will be an opportunity to explore the deeply profound, relaxing practice of Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep).
Bodywise has been really busy making the studio safe. We’re now only inviting 9 students back per class to ensure you can maintain a 2 meter distance from your fellow students and teacher.
You will need to bring your own yoga equipment, please bring:
2 x blankets
2 x Blocks
Comfortable warm clothing
£25/20 non-refundable, non-transferable.
