Counselling, Psychotherapy and Supervision
Life can sometimes be stressful, challenging and unfulfilling and this can deeply affect our emotional and physical wellbeing. But when these feelings, thoughts and behaviours get in the way of life and our relationships, then it can be helpful to seek support. Through support from the Counsellor you can become more aware of your thoughts, feelings and help you navigate through your difficulties.
Counselling and Psychotherapy can be helpful for:
- Addictions
- Bereavement
- Bullying
- Illness
- Relationships
- Trauma
- Feelings of life having no meaning
- Anxiety
- Stress
- Depression
- Low self-esteem
Alastair Stewart
Our bodies hold all the accumulation of our experience, how we connect to this experience is pivotal to our appreciation of being alive. As a Hakomi therapist my curiosity inclines to discovering the body’s wisdom, a wisdom that when held with respect, leads to a place of understanding and love, a sort of natural integration. I also provide supervision for therapists, please click here for more information.
Grazyna Gwarek
As an integrative therapist, I intend to support you in reflecting on the way you live today, what you wish for, and how to loosen the influence the past has on your present and future. This work is collaborative and guided by your needs in terms of scope and pace. My approach is warm, empathic, at times dynamic, and always keeping your best interest in mind. I offer both open-ended sessions and OnePlus Therapy (also known as Single-session Therapy. Watch video here)
Paul Whitehead (Vidyapala)
My therapeutic work is relational and body-oriented. Gestalt psychotherapy offers a genuinely holistic approach to human flourishing. Therefore, as well as traditional talk therapy, I integrate body and breath awareness techniques and creative ways of working, for example, through art and writing.
I am particularly interested in existential themes around finding meaning and purpose in life. I have found my approach works especially well with people who:
- Are pretty self-aware but get stuck in their head
- Feel anxious and get stuck in patterns, stories and ‘overthinking’
- Are grieving or facing a life-limiting illness
- May be confronting spiritual or religious problems or crises
- Feel like they may be at a crossroads in their life and want to explore the next step
- Are dealing with trauma, depression, shame or anxiety and don’t know where to turn.
